Have you created an opportunity and now wish to create a project from it?
Here are the elements to consider:
⠀
Create and Qualify Your Opportunity
Whether it is a TA (Technical Assistance), package, or recruitment opportunity, you can follow this tutorial to understand: How to manage your opportunities.
⠀
TA/Technical Assistance and Recruitment Opportunities
Opportunities Module > Opportunity card > "Positionings" tab
Qualify the state of your candidate/resource positioning to "Won"
(or the term set by your company Administrator to indicate that the consultant will work on the signed opportunity).
Warning: If your candidate has not been converted into a resource, you will see an error message stating that the conversion failed.
To resolve this, please convert this candidate into a resource before trying again.
Even for a freelance or subcontractor, it is essential to create an HR contract for your new resource.
Click "Confirm" in the tooltip that appears on the screen to validate your choice.
The identified opportunity is then automatically turned into a project and you are redirected to the project card.
If several positioned people need to be added to the project, simply return to the "Positionings" tab of your initial opportunity, set the desired positionings to Won by selecting the existing project this time to avoid creating a new project.
⠀
Package Opportunities
For package projects, you are not required to position consultants, so you can easily start from the opportunity information card.
Opportunities Module > Opportunity card > "Information" tab
Qualify the state of the opportunity as "Won" (or the term set by your company Administrator to indicate that the opportunity has been signed).
Then confirm.
You will then be able to work directly on your project and add (from the "Deliveries" tab) the missing information (Turnover & Additional investments, Deliveries). You can check the article on qualifying package projects from A to Z for more details.
⠀
Product Opportunities
For product opportunities, you need to position products previously created from the relevant module. Thus, you only need to indicate the concerned period and the number of scheduled installments. Then, when the sale is finalized, simply set the product positioning to Won.
