On Boond, during your sales cycle, you have the option to position a candidate, a resource, and/or a standard profile.
Here we show you how to configure and track these standard profiles during the pre-sales phase and even after the project is created.
Module Rights Configuration
The Standard Profiles module is a standalone module, just like the Candidates module or the Resources module. Therefore, it may be necessary to configure access rights to this module for all users who will need to use it.
From Administration > Managers / Roles > open the relevant role: you can activate the Standard Profiles module in the Main Modules.
Here you can configure search rights (filter on legal agencies), profile rights (read/write access to own profiles, all profiles, those of their agencies or a list of agencies), and miscellaneous rights (creation, deletion, reassignment).
⠀
Standard Profile Configuration
Once access to the module is granted, you can access it and configure a standard profile by clicking the orange + button at the top right.
To fill in your standard profile, you can enter the following elements:
Name of the profile: required field
Daily Rate and ADC
The calculation of margin and profitability is automatic
Selection of legal agency and currency
Option to add a comment
Option to add standard skills in the Technical file section: this will facilitate your searches in the module's search view
⠀
Assigning a Standard Profile to an Opportunity
When you have created your opportunity and are ready to assign candidates, resources, and/or standard profiles, you can create a new assignment. The assignment modal opens with the same options as usual:
Profile search
Profile suggestion
Classic search
Profile Search
When you want to search for a specific profile, you have access to the list of candidates, resources, and also standard profiles.
By clicking the orange "Assign" button, you can assign these candidates, resources, and/or standard profiles all at once.
Classic Search
If you do not have a specific standard profile in mind to assign, and want to search directly in the module, click "Classic search" then select the "Standard profile" module in the workflow displayed at the top of your screen.
You can then use your filters / key words to display profiles suited to your opportunity and select the profile(s) you want to assign.
By clicking the orange "Assign" button, you can assign candidates, resources, and/or standard profiles all at once.
Qualify the Assignment
Once your candidates, resources, and/or standard profiles are assigned, simply qualify each assignment as you usually do for your opportunities, by entering a start and end date, a Daily Rate, a number of days sold, and an ADC if the information is not already provided.
⠀
Note
If you use the Quotation app, the standard profiles will be included in your quotation with their assignment information:
Turn Opportunity into Project
Good news: your client is satisfied with your proposal and signs it 🥳! You are now ready to turn your opportunity into a project!
To do this, simply change the state of your opportunity to "Won". You can choose to select an assignment (candidate, resource, or standard profile) which will then be turned into a delivery in the project.
If you chose a standard profile at the time of this state change, you will find this profile in delivery on your project. You then have the option to assign a resource and thus replace the standard profile with a resource who will log timesheets on this project.
The resource then takes precedence over the standard profile, with an up-to-date ADC (the ADC from the resource's contract, if applicable).
⠀
Assigning a Standard Profile to a Project
It is also possible to assign a standard profile to an already created / ongoing project.
For this, nothing could be simpler!
In the Deliveries tab of your project, click the + button to create a new delivery and search for a standard profile to add.
Once the standard profile is selected and added as a delivery, you can qualify it like any resource in delivery, by adding a Daily Rate and an estimated workload.
⠀
Warning
No timesheet entry is possible for a standard profile, so you must assign a resource and then qualify their delivery as usual as soon as you know the resource assigned to the project. The resource then takes precedence over the standard profile, with an up-to-date ADC (the ADC from the resource's contract, if applicable).

F.A.Q.
I don\'t see the Standard Profiles module in my left menu, why?
If you don\'t see the Standard Profiles module, it may be for two reasons:
The module has not been activated in your role: ask your administrator to check your role and configure the module rights if necessary
The module is activated in your role, but you don\'t see it: click your first name at the top right > Configuration > here you can edit your menu bar to make the Standard Profiles module appear
Can I add a standard profile in delivery directly to a project?
You cannot add a standard profile in delivery to a project without going through an opportunity.
