04/20/2012 - Version 4.3.4 of your BoondManager application has arrived!

Please take note of the information regarding the updates brought by this new version of BoondManager.

On the agenda:

  • 2 major innovations (the Flag system & advanced qualification of Opportunities)

  • numerous improvements to existing modules

  • enhanced intuitiveness of the tool

Innovation #1: the Flag system

The Flag system

/

is a tagging feature for cards within the BoondManager application designed to facilitate the management of your activity. Flags allow you to group and manage sets of cards by theme within BoondManager.

Thanks to this feature, you can create personalized subgroups gathering certain important cards to monitor (e.g.: cards of historical clients, cards of high-potential candidates, cards of identified leads for sending an emailing, etc.).

The number of flags and their labels are managed by Managers. Each Manager can flag / unflag all cards in the application to which they have read/write access.

Innovation #2: advanced qualification of positioning associated with an Opportunity

From an Opportunity card, you can now determine for each of your positionings the intervention dates, the number of scheduled days, the daily sale rate, and the ADC.
These advanced positionings allow you to display:

  • more detailed financial data (Turnover, Cost, Margin) on your Opportunities

  • advanced forecasted positionings (in orange) on your Schedules

Improvements to existing modules

  • Actions Module

  • "Action" card > "Browse" button

    You can now attach a document to each action

  • Each attached document is quickly accessible in the action search interface (like candidate / resource resumes)

  • Resources Module

  • "Resource" card > "Create Project" button

    You can create a project (TA / Package / Recruitment) directly from the resource card: the Opportunity and related positioning will be automatically created and the positioning state will be switched to "Won"

  • "Resource" card > "Administrative" tab

    Creation of the configuration key "Read/Write administrative resource data". If this key is disabled, the "Administrative" tab of resource cards and contract cards are no longer accessible.

    Administration Console > "Accounts" > manager magnifier

    Configuration of this key is done on the manager account card from the administration console.

  • CRM Module

  • "CRM Company" card > "Information" tab > "Billing Details" section

    When you add billing details, by default, the company details are automatically used

  • "CRM Contact" card > "Create Project" button

    You can create a project (TA / Package / Product) directly from a CRM contact card: the Opportunity and related positioning, in the case of a TA / Package project, will be automatically created and the positioning state will be switched to "Won"

  • Projects Module

  • "Project" card > "Consumption" tab

    A new indicator appears: production Turnover, visible in the financial summary

  • "Project" card > "Billing" tab

    In the financial summary, Turnover is now detailed as "Paid" which shows the amount of paid invoices related to the project, and "Other" which shows the amount invoiced but not yet paid by the client

  • "Project" card > "Missions" tab

    You can define several project managers on package projects

  • "Project" card > "Position" button

    You can position resources from a project card (TA / Package): the positioning will be automatically created and switched to the "Won" state

  • "Project" card > "Missions" tab > "Mission" card

    Creation of the configuration key "Read/Write project administrative data". If this key is disabled, administrative data (salary, expenses, correlation, etc.) are no longer accessible, except for ADC.

    Administration Console > "Accounts" > manager magnifier

    Configuration of this key is done on the manager account card from the administration console.

  • Billing Module

  • "Purchase Order" card > "Information" tab

    Alerts are displayed on POs if no billing address or bank details have been defined

  • Improved "Send Invoice" button from an "Invoice" card:

  • Administration Console > "Agencies" > "Agency" card > "Billing Configuration" tab

    From the administration console, you can define the sender of your emails when sending your PDF invoices ([email protected], the "Manager" responsible for the invoice, or a custom email)

  • Administration Console > Global Data Configuration > "Billing" tab

    From the administration console, you can define the template message for the email accompanying your PDF invoices

  • Activity Reports Module

  • Activity Reports > Schedules

    A checkbox has been added to the right of the "Pos." filter to allow you to display either positioning dates (unchecked) or positioning periods (checked)

  • Activity Reports > Schedules

    You can now search and view schedules by Project and by CRM

  • Activity Reports > Reporting > "Commercial" & "Global Activity" Types

    New reporting indicators appear in this version of BoondManager. These include weighted Turnover for each Opportunity state (in progress, won, lost, abandoned, etc.) and Turnover, Margin, and Profitability for "Billed" and "Production".

Other improvements to BoondManager

  • Optimized saving of all cards: the "Enter" key on your keyboard now automatically saves the card and its current tab

  • Ability to downgrade a "Manager" account to "Resource" by simply deleting the "Manager" account from the administration console. IMPORTANT: all action history for this manager will be lost and you will need to reconfigure the intranet log in credentials for this resource

  • Alerts on "Action" and "Mission" cards when the end date is earlier than the start date

  • Optimized management of date/time differences on "Action" cards: changing the start date/time will automatically update the end date/time while maintaining the previous difference

  • Management of "States" on "Project", "Purchase Order" & "Product" cards --> You can now "Archive" these cards

  • Added "States" and "Source" filters to "Actions", "CRM" & "Opportunities" modules

  • Added "Search Location" filter to "Candidates" & "Resources" modules

  • Searches for key words present in the last name, first name, TD and resume of the resource/candidate

  • Searches for key words present only in the resume of the resource/candidate

  • Searches for key words present only in the TD of the resource/candidate

App Improvements

  • App "GCalendar": you can now install our gadget on your Google calendar to FULLY synchronize your events with BoondManager

  • App "WExtractPayroll": you can now filter your data by "Type" of resource
