Automatically weight the projected turnover of your opportunities based on the stage of the opportunity.
This will save you time in your forecast monitoring by automating and standardizing the weighting of this turnover. You will also avoid manual entry and therefore errors and/or omissions!
Configure automatic weightings by stage
You can configure the percentage of weighting by stage of opportunity so that it can apply automatically with each change of stage!
Administrator settings
To configure the weighting percentage by stage of opportunities, go to:
Administration> Global settings > Opportunities/Projects
Enable the option "Automatically set a weighting according to the stage of the opportunity" to expand the menu
Apply a weighting by stage of opportunity (Note: you must set a weighting for all stages, even if it is zero)
You have a checkbox option for "Allow manual modification of the weighting on the opportunity" if you wish
Attention
These weightings will by default only apply to new opportunities or to opportunities whose stage is updated after this configuration.

Usage
The automatic weighting, once configured by stage, will automatically apply with each change of stage of the opportunity.
If you have enabled the manual modification option for the weighting, you will then see the "lock" icon to the left of your automatic weighting, which will allow you to switch to manual entry if you wish.
For opportunities created or updated BEFORE configuring the default weighting, you will have the option to apply the default value configured for the relevant stage of the opportunity.

Tip
Remember to also use the start and end dates of the opportunity, so your weighted turnover is spread over the period of the opportunity!⠀

I don\'t have access to Administration, how can I configure the default weighting of opportunities?
This is a matter of permissions: you can contact your administrator to configure this or grant you access to the Global Settings of your interface.
I can\'t switch to manual entry for the weighting (I don\'t have the lock)?
This option must be checked in the weighting configuration: "Allow manual modification of the weighting on the opportunity".
