The Projects+ application allows you to override the classic calculation of Production Turnover (based on logged time), making it either proportional to project advancement or limiting it to Signed Turnover.

Application Configuration
Here you can set global calculation rules as well as the types of projects that will be tracked in Projects+
Production Turnover Calculation Mode
You can choose the default calculation mode you wish to apply:
Manual: if you want to manually set your Production Turnover.
Signed Turnover x Advancement: Production Turnover will be calculated proportionally to project advancement, which must be entered month by month.
Consumed Schedule x Daily Sale price + rebilled expenses + rebilled purchases, capped at Signed Turnover: Production Turnover will be calculated as usual but will be limited to the project's Signed Turnover. Beyond this, any logged production will no longer generate Turnover for this project.
Remaining Work Entry Mode
There are three possible levels of detail for entering project advancement (remaining work expressed in days):
Global for the project: you enter a total remaining work for the project each month, without detail.
By Groupment: if you have created project groupments and wish to indicate remaining work for each of them each month.
By Resource: if you wish to enter advancement for each consultant
Production Turnover Rate Entry Mode by Resource
This option allows you to weight Production Turnover by resource, using a weighting percentage to express each consultant's contribution to the produced Turnover, independently of logged time. This highlights productivity gaps between consultants with different seniority levels.
There are 3 options here:
Automatic: The Production Turnover Rate will be the proportion of time declared in the month by the resource compared to the total time declared on the same project
Manual: You wish to manually manage this percentage rather than have it calculated automatically
Disabled: You do not wish to enter it. In this case, Production Turnover for resources (for these projects) will always be $0
Project Stages Managed by the Automatic Agent
The automatic agent is a daily calculation that runs on all projects in one of the stages selected here (it is recommended to create a special stage for this use).
The agent updates Production Turnover based on logged time in timesheets, and therefore only acts on Projects+ projects where Production Turnover is capped at Signed Turnover (the 3rd calculation mode described above)
⠀
Choosing Project Types Managed by Projects+
To avoid disrupting all your projects with this management, you must indicate to your interface which project types will be managed by the Projects+ application. By doing so, only these projects will have Production Turnover calculated by this application, and others will continue to function as usual.
To do this, simply follow these steps:
Go to administration > Global settings > "Opportunities/Projects" tab > "Project settings" section
Click "Edit" below the field "Project types whose Production Turnover & remaining work are managed from the Projects+ application"
Add the relevant project typologies
Save
⠀
Authorize Your Managers to Use It
You must decide who will have the application installed by default:
Accessible only to authorized Managers: you choose which manager has the right to log in to the application. To do this, go to the Administration interface in the Managers / Roles module, open the relevant account/role records, then check the Projects+ app in the Apps section.
Accessible by all managers: all managers will have the application installed by default.
Accessible only to authorized managers & all resources: This option is identical to the first and will have no effect for intranets without access to reporting.
Accessible to all managers & resources: This option is identical to the second and will have no effect for intranets without access to reporting.
Recommendation
We recommend choosing "Accessible only to authorized managers" so you can select which managers to activate the app for from Managers/Roles.

Different Modes of Production Turnover Management
Consumed Schedule x Daily Sale price + Purchases/Turnover/expenses rebilled, capped at Signed Turnover
This calculation mode matches the usual mode proportional to logged time, but limits it to the project's Signed Turnover. This is commonly called "capped TA".
The benefit is to identify from which point production no longer generates Turnover, in cases where the project was negotiated as TA but with a maximum amount. Beyond this maximum amount, produced Turnover will be valued at $0 and the project margin will then be affected.
No Impact on Billing
However, note: this calculation mode does not impact project billing and will not block billing for time beyond Signed Turnover. You retain the option to decide whether to bill time that exceeds Signed Turnover.
⠀
Signed Turnover x Advancement
This mode calculates Production Turnover based on project advancement, not on logged time.
Advancement is defined as the ratio between consumption and the total re-evaluated schedule (consumption + Remaining work).
If you wish to change entry mode during the project, be careful!
If you change it, you will lose previously entered remaining work. You will need to re-enter remaining work for previous months to retrace project advancement month by month.
Global Remaining Work for the Project
In this mode, you can enter remaining work in days for the entire project, regardless of the consultants working on the project or any groupments created.
Production Turnover is thus the total Signed Turnover multiplied by the project advancement percentage.
Remaining Work by Groupment
This mode applies only to projects where groupments have been created.
You can enter remaining work for each groupment, and the project's total Production Turnover will be calculated by adding the Production Turnover of each groupment (Signed Turnover of the groupment x advancement percentage)
Remaining Work by Resource
Here, remaining work is entered for each delivery, making it the most detailed mode.
The project's total Production Turnover will be calculated by adding the Production Turnover of each delivery (Signed Turnover of the delivery x advancement percentage)
⠀
Manual
As the name suggests, this mode allows you to manually enter Production Turnover for each project tracked in Projects+.
Navigation and Reporting
⠀
Project Overview
The overview lets you instantly see all the projects you have chosen to manage in Projects+.
You will find the last updated period (column Last period Updated), which is also sortable: with one click you can see which projects have not yet been updated.
The following columns show the main project advancement indicators, including the Forecast variance which will alert you to any projects falling behind.
Finally, the last column Delta ET gives you a view of billing in progress, specifically the difference between Production Turnover and Turnover actually billed to the client.
⠀
Track Your Project Advancement
By opening one of the projects, you access the project tracking and its advancement month by month.
First, you find the main project indicators: Schedule, Turnover, costs, margins, profitability. This summary will update as the project evolves.
Below, three tabs are available: Global, Groupments, Resources. Each presents tracking indicators with its own level of detail.
With navigation buttons, you can view previous/next months to see information month by month throughout the project period.
The Remaining work fields are editable depending on the mode chosen in the application configuration (or the project at the bottom of the page): you can indicate the number of days remaining to plan for the project, for groupments, or resource by resource depending on this choice.
On the Production Turnover line, an icon lets you switch from daily automatic calculation to immediate automatic calculation, then to manual entry.
You can thus manage Production Turnover as you wish even if you have set a default calculation mode.
The button will always revert to robot when you return to this screen: this is normal, by default the automatic calculation agent will run on all projects in one of the stages chosen in the application configuration (see configuration section above).
Finally, in the configuration at the bottom of the page, you can modify calculation and entry modes if you wish to manage differently for this project. The rules and best practices for choosing these modes are the same as those described in the application configuration above.
⠀
Impact on Reporting
This section lets you know which figures in your reporting will be impacted and which will not.
Impact on Project Reporting
Data from Projects+ will impact the following indicators:
Total Production Turnover
Production gross margin
Production gross profitability
Production Turnover / resource (provided the Production Turnover Rate by resource is entered/calculated)
N.B.: The "Remaining work" indicator will not be reported because we are not able to manage remaining work for all periods that can be queried via this Reporting module. To see the status of Remaining work at a given time, please use the Projects+ view directly.
Impact on Resource Reporting
Data from Projects+ will impact the following indicators provided the Production Turnover Rate by resource is entered/calculated on your projects:
Total Production Turnover
Production Turnover / Project
N.B.: The "Remaining work" indicator will not be reported because we are not able to manage remaining work for all periods that can be queried via this Reporting module. To see the status of Remaining work at a given time, please use the Projects+ view directly.
Impact on "global synthesis" reporting
Note that all production-related indicators will be impacted insofar as Production Turnover will be what has been calculated or entered in Projects+. Thus, Turnover, margins, profitability, and indicators derived from Production Turnover will take into account these special cases managed in Projects+.
