Using AI in BoondManager
AI can operate on:
Opportunities
Candidates
Resources
For example, to start an AI-assisted positioning search, it’s very simple!
Go to the relevant opportunity, then to the Positioning tab.
Here’s how the feature displays if you don’t have any positionings yet:
Simply click "Find profiles with AI" to start the search. The AI will focus on information contained in Candidate or Resource cards as well as attachments.
The AI will select 20 qualified profiles for this opportunity and provide several key pieces of information to help you make your decision.
First, you’ll see the profile type suggested: "Candidate" or "Resource" and the scoring / confidence index provided by the AI.
Here, the AI quickly summarizes how the profile matches your search.
You can complete your analysis by reviewing the candidate/resource state, their ADC, and contract status.
Access the resume directly for a final check before positioning the profile.

Configure profile suggestion
The AI will analyze your opportunities to suggest the best profiles. You can improve results by configuring a pre-filter to refine its search scope.
Common settings
These settings are shared with our BoondSuggest feature!
There are 2 types of configuration: from administration and personal (manager level)
Administrator settings
To edit the default configuration, go to:
Administration> Global settings > Opportunities/Projects
Choose the perimeter for searching candidate profiles and resources: my Agencies, my poles...
Exclude candidate and resource cards based on their type: converted to resource, director, business engineer ...
Exclude candidate and resource cards based on their state.
Choose the fields from the opportunity that will be used as keywords in the search: tools, activity area, expertise area, title (one, all, none ...). The advantage here is to benefit from Boond’s powerful indexing of information if you haven’t applied these fields as filters on your TD.
Choose the filters from the opportunity that will be automatically applied during the search based on the available fields: tools, activity area, expertise area, title.
Manager settings take precedence!
If your managers have already added their own custom settings, these override the standard settings. Editing settings from administration will not change their configuration.

Your administrator has already configured a default configuration to help you, but you can also customize the criteria for your own access!
Your first name at the top right > configuration > Profile Suggestion section

FAQ
Does the AI search cover my entire database?
For practical reasons and results, the search covers all your resources and candidates created or updated in the last 30 days.
Do I need to configure special rights for my managers?
No rights need to be configured once we have activated AI for you.
What is the scoring based on? And how to improve it?
The algorithm is based on a % match between information entered in the opportunity and information entered in the candidate card.
On the Resource and Candidate side, AI will prioritize analyzing the title, competences, experience, and resume attachment (it also considers other elements like mobility, tools, evaluations, etc.).
On the Opportunity side, qualifying the different fields is very important, especially the description, attachments, title, required criteria, tools, activity area, budget... Don’t hesitate to fill in as much information as possible.
Why do "lost" opportunities still appear in suggestions or indicators?
This is due to a setting in your administration interface: the states "Won", "Lost", "Abandoned" and "Postponed" can be defined as active, which distorts:
active opportunity indicators,
suggestions generated by AI matching.
✅ How to fix this?
An administrator must:
Go to Administration > Global settings > "Opportunities/Projects".
In "Opportunity settings", uncheck the states mentioned in "Active states".
Save.
This will restore reliable suggestions and indicators.
