This article aims to guide you on how to assign a candidate or resource to an opportunity, as well as perform advanced qualification of the positioning.

Create a Positioning

Opportunities > Opportunity card > Positionings tab

You can choose between 3 modes of search operation available for your positionings and deliveries:

  • Assign directly a candidate or resource whose last name you already know

  • Benefit from BoondSuggest filtering

  • Use the classic search

By clicking on "Create a positioning" a workflow appears and offers you 3 types of searches detailed below:

Directly assign one or several profiles

When you click the "+" button for positionings, you can choose to select directly a candidate or a resource by typing their last name if you know it!

You can choose to notify the opportunity manager, and/or the candidate manager or resource manager before clicking assign.

Using BoondSuggest

BoondSuggest is here to help you save valuable time on filtering your consultants and here is how to use it to get the most out of it!

  • Qualify your opportunity so that BoondSuggest can retrieve the elements.

  • Click on "assign" to launch the process.

  • Choose "Profile suggestion": it already shows you the number of candidates and resources found!

  • Edit key words and filters as needed. The filters bar uses your default BoondSuggest configuration but you can save new criteria to apply only to this opportunity.

  • Navigate easily between Candidates and Resources.

  • Select the consultants you want and click the "assign" button in the workflow to return to the opportunity and work your commercial projection!

You can also choose to use our classic search by clicking here:

In this case, you will have to start from scratch with the key words and filters applied to the search.

Note

You have the option to notify the candidate/resource manager and the opportunity manager that a positioning has been performed.

Qualify a Positioning

To perform advanced qualification of a candidate or resource positioning.

Opportunities > Opportunity card > Positionings tab > click on the positioning row

  1. Enter the estimated project dates. You will see the number of workable days for the period appear to the right of the project dates

  2. Indicate the daily sale price

  3. Indicate the number of days you plan to sell

  4. If you have assigned a resource, the tool should by default suggest their ADC (Average Daily Cost) to calculate the intervention cost for the period: (Nb Billed Days + Nb Free Days)*ADC. If no ADC appears by default, it means your resource does not have an HR contract (see the "Administrative" tab of the resource card). If you have assigned a candidate, you must manually define their ADC (Average Daily Cost) to calculate the intervention cost for the period: (Nb Billed Days + Nb Free Days)*ADC.

By qualifying the positioning, you will be able to view the "Financial summary" of the opportunity.

Here is additional help explaining its operation.

Understand the Financial Summary of an Opportunity

Opportunities > Opportunity card > Positionings tab

  • Turnover excluding VAT = Daily sale price excluding VAT of the resource x Number of billed days

  • Costs excluding VAT = Average Daily Cost (ADC) of the resource x Number of billed days

  • Margin excluding VAT = Turnover excluding VAT – Costs excluding VAT

  • Profitability = Margin excluding VAT / Turnover excluding VAT x 100

IMPORTANT!

You can choose to correlate / uncorrelate positionings on the opportunity. This option allows you to indicate which positionings to include or not in the financial summary.

The checkbox located below the financial summary of the opportunity card allows you to replace the projected turnover of the qualified opportunity in the "Information" tab with the total turnover of the correlated positionings.
