With the DocTemplates application, create your resume template in your branding, in Word or PDF format!

Find the general webinar on DocTemplate:

Prerequisites

Check that the application is installed from the Administrator > Marketplace > DocTemplates tab. If you do not have the rights to log in to the Administrator, ask a manager who has this access.

How DocTemplates Works

DocTemplates works with substitution variables. To create your resume template, list all the necessary information. Example: Candidate Last Name, Candidate First Name, education level, etc.

You can find all variables by clicking here: DocTemplate Documentation
Once this is done, the DocTemplates documentation will allow you to check if all this information exists through substitution variables. When generating the final document, these variables will be replaced by their associated data from BoondManager.

As for the document style, you are free to play with italics, bold, and size to get the resume in your colors!

Types of Existing Variables

There are three types of variables:

  • Variables of simple type: they contain only one value (text or numeric). Example: Candidate Last Name

  • Variables of list type: They contain a list of values. Example: Candidate activity areas

  • Variables of table type: They allow you to insert a table containing different values. Example: the different languages spoken by the Candidate

Inject Your Template into BoondManager

To use your resume template, you must first inject it into BoondManager. To do this, follow the breadcrumb trail:

Administrator > My Apps > DocTemplates > Configuration > Attach the file in the correct section

Create Different Resume Templates

You can create different resume templates and differentiate them in the document naming according to the agency, language, or format.

Examples:

  • fileName_[POLE3]_[FR].docx

  • fileName_[AJU1]_[FR].docx

  • fileName_[EN].docx

  • fileName_[PDF].docx
