This article aims to show you the different updates in BoondManager.
The major update in this version is the redesign of the My timesheets, My expenses, My absences module, accessible from the intranets for employees and from "my profile" for manager accounts, for greater simplicity and optimization in data entry.
⠀
Timesheet entry
With regular activity
To make it easier for your employees to enter their timesheets, we have redesigned the timesheet interface. Here are the main changes:
A single + button to add new rows
Rows are added at the top of the table for better visibility, the first letters of each day are visible
Activity rows are displayed in read mode and become editable on click. This improves the look and makes it easier to read project names :)
A progress bar has been added at the top of the table to indicate whether all monthly working days have been entered.
To facilitate activity entry, each day is more or less colored depending on the total amount entered for that day.
With exceptional activity
If your employee is authorized to enter exceptional activity (overtime, on-call duty, night intervention) and is assigned to a project, he or she will see below the timesheet table the option to add this activity:
Your employee will be able to enter exceptional activity:
And will find their information in a synthetic card format, which can be edited or deleted by clicking the relevant buttons at the end of the row
.
Note: Each colored border corresponds to a type of activity.
⠀
Expense entry
Expense report entry is simplified:
Simple and pleasant entry from your mobile browser ;)
To create an expense line, simply click the + button
You then create a card with the expense that you can describe and to which you can add a receipt related to the expense incurred
Flat-rate expenses are less visible to avoid entry errors, but are still present
Good to know:
You have the option to attach a receipt. This will allow you to track and verify easily. When the expense report is validated, an icon will appear next to the entered expense to indicate that a receipt is attached.
Once actual and flat-rate expenses are entered, you have the following synthetic view:
You find the cards for your various expenses with an indication of whether they are to be rebilled or not and whether the receipt is attached or not
Modification or deletion is always possible thanks to the buttons at the end of the rowYou find the cards in calendar format with flat-rate expenses established in the employee's HR contract or configured in their assignment
You can edit or delete the cardsFinally, you find the summary of actual and flat-rate expenses as well as expenses to be rebilled to clients
Note: Each colored border corresponds to a type of expense.
In case of mileage expense
You must first enter the mileage expense and only specify the number of kilometers.
The scale to choose then appears in the synthesis and the calculation is generated automatically.
In the synthetic view of all expense reports, you find the total amount of the expense report and the usual indications of validation and payment.
⠀
Absence request entry
The view for submitting absence requests has been redesigned to make it easier for your employees to request leave.
Enter an absence request
Simple and pleasant entry from your mobile browser ;)
To lighten the view, absence balances are hidden by default. However, they can be opened by clicking Show absence balances.
You can click the + button to add any new absence request
You now have a card display in calendar format indicating the type and, if desired, a quick description of your leave request.
If an absence request has already been made or validated, the day is displayed in gray and it is not possible to enter on it. If it was a half-day and you try to enter more than a half-day on the remaining part, then the card validation is impossible and you get an error message:
You can edit or delete the cards
.
Important: Leave validation remains mandatory so that the next validator receives a notification and can validate in turn.
Note: Each colored border corresponds to a type of absence.
View your absence requests
The display of requested absences has been simplified (number by absence type as well as the months concerned). Much clearer, right?!
Employees can view their absence balances in the dedicated tab if the administrator has enabled it.
Here are the other updates implemented in this version upgrade as well as 7.5.1 also delivered this month:
⠀
Filter by Project Type in Workload Plans view
It is now possible, by clicking on Advanced filters, to filter by Project Types.
⠀
Specify a reason for contract end
A new "Contract end reason" field has been added so you can specify a reason when ending an HR contract.

⠀
Generate a credit note directly from an invoice

⠀
Track two new indicators for Resource Reporting

⠀
Sort columns in the Positioning table

⠀
Better management of Gmail authentication via Emailing
Starting June 15, Google will block any attempt to access their SMTP without OAuth. We have anticipated this and updated the Emailing app to allow use of this protocol.
When configuring the Emailing application, you will see a message informing you that your SMTP configuration is obsolete.
You will then need to select Gmail in the Provider Type list.
Once you have saved, you will then have the opportunity to synchronize your Google account with your BoondManager account.
Then validate the synchronization by authorizing Boond.
⠀
Additional Turnover/Investment: add a configurable "Type" field
It is now possible to configure typologies in the Additional Turnover/Investment table.
Prerequisite:
You must first go to Administration > global settings > Needs/Projects tab to activate this option.
Once this configuration is done, a log out/log in is necessary for the change to be taken into account and thus allow you to select a Type:
