From LinkedIn, it is possible to create a candidate and update certain information in their BoondManager profile.

Installing the BoondManager Extension for LinkedIn

From Chrome: I invite you to go to the Chrome Web Store to add the Boond extension to your browser.

From Mozilla Firefox: First, download the extension at the following address:

If the browser directly offers to install the extension, you can follow the instructions and confirm the installation.

Otherwise, go to about:addons in Firefox (type directly in the address bar) and click the cogwheel in Manage Your Extensions, then Install Add-on From File:

Then find the downloaded module and open it, then finally click Add to confirm:

Here are some animations describing the different situations:

If you do not have an open BoondManager session on your browser, the gadget will first invite you to log in:

Once on a LinkedIn profile, the gadget allows you to create a candidate from the information available on the page:

Update a Candidate

If changes to the email or phone number have been made to a LinkedIn profile, Boond will be able to detect it and offer you to perform an update.

You have several options:

  1. Open the profile in BoondManager by clicking the link

  2. Choose whether you want to keep Boond information or take LinkedIn information

  3. Validate the proposed update

Duplicate Management

BoondManager has thought of everything.

If the candidate already exists in Boond and you try to import them, a message appears indicating that this profile already exists and that the information entered in Boond is up to date, so no update is needed!
