Automatic recognition of expense receipts (OCR)
We are proud to integrate our partner Mindee into your expense reports to facilitate entry of these main fields: date, Amount IT, VAT, currency, and expense types.
On the expense report
When creating your expense reports, you can directly drag your receipt (invoice, receipt) so the tool parses the document and pre-fills the report. You only need to check that everything is correct and save (then validate if you are done entering data).
IMPORTANT!
For expense types to be recognized by OCR, your interface administrator must associate an OCR category with each expense type configured in your legal Agencies.
Administration > Legal Agency > Activity & Expenses tab
In the "Expense types for expense reports" section: you must associate each expense with its type so it can be automatically recognized.
WARNING, you must not associate the same OCR category with multiple expense types configured in your system. Why? Because OCR will no longer know which expense type to associate the receipt with.
A little more patience:
This feature is not yet available on the Android Mobile app. While waiting for the brand new mobile version scheduled for early 2021, feel free to ask your administrator to contact us to activate the web version in your current mobile app.

Evidentiary value of expense reports
An integration with the trusted third party Signaturit has been implemented to ensure evidentiary value for receipts indexed on your expense reports (with certified timestamping and digital archiving for 10 years).
Configuration
From the administration interface, you must first sign the Evidentiary Value contract to activate this new feature (which we offer to you🎁).
On the expense report
The employee enters their expense report and attaches their receipts as usual.
Then, when the validation workflow is fully validated, the final validation triggers the generation of a certified PDF file that will be available directly from the expense report, including the receipts and a certification attestation.
From the employee's expense report, you can then retrieve the attestation

From the Activity and Expenses module > Expense Report view, you can bulk export certified receipts
Retrieving certification proofs
To do this, simply follow the previous steps, choose "certified document and receipts" from the dropdown list, and check "export certification proofs".
The Zip file containing all expense reports as well as the certified PDF file and a certification attestation from our partner are accessible from your download center.

It is your company's responsibility to ensure proper digitization of receipts indexed by your employees in BoondManager. Our responsibility is not to degrade your quality receipts submitted for certification and archiving for 10 years.

Navigation & filters
Focus on the search field
When you open a module, you can directly type your search without having to click on the key words field. This allows for smoother navigation.
With the goal of continuously improving your user experience, we now offer simplified views as well as new search modes in BoondManager.
Simplified views
To offer you a cleaner view and navigation, we have implemented material design. These are lighter views where we have removed some framed fields to avoid scrolling and the "form" view. Thus, when you view a card, the interface is lighter. Simply hover over the field with your cursor to modify it.
All fields have been redesigned so that reading and understanding their content is faster. For monetary fields, for example, removing the framing allowed us to bring the symbol closer and read the amount more naturally.
Generally, removing the framing from each field allows the eye to better focus on its content when it needs to be highlighted. In daily use, it is not necessary to systematically (as our "form" display did) remind which fields are editable; it is better to draw more attention to the content while still allowing modification when you hover over the field.
How to know if a field is not editable now? Just hover over it and you will either see the field's outline appear or a panel indicating you cannot modify it:
Search by skill level
When searching for the ideal candidate or resource, it is sometimes important for you to filter by language level or skill on a tool. This is now possible with the search by level filter.

Grouping: customized Daily Rates in deliveries
Until now, all deliveries in the same grouping necessarily had the same Daily Rate.
Now you can customize the Daily Rate for each delivery in the grouping. This allows you to distinguish turnover by employee within the same grouping and thus qualify your fixed-price projects differently.

Availability: better management of future arrivals
When you add a new resource to your staff, you may create their card even before their arrival to organize yourself better.
Now, the availability date is automatically set to the contract start date. Thus, when searching by availability, you will find your resource at the desired date.
Tip:
Remember to use Reporting > Workload plans for better visibility on your employees' availability.

Migration of the ExtractBI App
The ExtractBI application is now available on the new version :)
We took the opportunity to make some improvements.
Access query templates
A new Query Templates tab is available to you.
This tab will allow you to find standard queries created by us that meet your typical needs, such as resources with an active contract, the personnel register, and much more :)
If you are interested in one of the queries, you can open it and click the "+" at the top right to create a new personalized query from this template:
Simplified workflow when creating a query
We have made query creation easier.
Administration > Apps/Marketplace > Apps tab > ExtractBI > Configuration button
No more multiple clicks to finally create a query. We have simplified the workflow :)
As soon as you enter the application's configuration, you can create your query by clicking the "+" button
When creating your queries, Boond automatically tests the query and tells you in real time that no error is present and gives you the number of results found.
Otherwise, by clicking the Preview button you will get a message guiding you on how to correct your query.
Query preview
When you create a new query, you can preview the result at any time.
Similarly, when you are on the My Queries tab and want to view the construction of existing queries, you can click the Preview button.
Bonus
From now on, when viewing your query list, you will be able to:
search by clicking Advanced Filters
know the date and user who last updated the query
know the number of extractions performed in the last 30 days

New Compta & Paie formats
We have improved our exports to adapt to different payroll-accounting organizations: Silae, Sage, and Cegid.
Integration with Silae
It is now possible to extract a payroll file that can be imported with SILAE.
Integration with Sage
Thanks to the Compta & Paie App, it is already possible to generate a Compta & Paie extraction that integrates with Sage using the proposed formats: Line 100 or Coala. We have improved the L100 accounting extraction to add useful information.
Integration with Cegid
We now offer a flat file to extract in *.TRA extension format, which can be properly integrated into your Cegid accounting tool and contains the following columns:
Invoice date
Due date
General accounting account (as for Sage Line100)
Auxiliary accounting account (third party account)
Entry label
Document number
Amounts ET, VAT, IT
Currency and its exchange rate if any.
In the configuration of the Compta & Paie App on the Administration side, you must display the "General third party account" field as when choosing the Sage L100 format.

Customized calendar
Administration > Global Settings > Miscellaneous tab
The goal is to allow you to create a customized calendar for each legal Agency.
You can now choose the weekends and holidays you want to enforce with a simple click!
