05/08/2012 - Version 5.1 of your BoondManager application has arrived!

Please log in and review the information regarding the updates introduced in this new version of BoondManager. On the agenda:

  • simplified batch management by offering 2 display modes (synthetic and detailed)

  • ability to upload your company logos in various formats (JPEG, PNG, and GIF) and with unrestricted sizes to improve their rendering on your PDF documents (Invoices and Client Activity Reports...)

  • bulk reassignment of CRM contacts for a company

  • improved intuitiveness for entering timesheets & expenses

  • numerous improvements to existing modules

Improved batch management for fixed-price projects

Following various discussions with you, we identified 3 areas of consideration:

1) Some want to declare batches that are all "trackable" by resources from the intranet

2) Others want to be able to enter batch items and only have resources track batches (not items)

3) You find it more logical to fill in the "Remains to be done" rather than progress

To address this issue, we have made the following improvements:

  • 2 views are accessible and interchangeable

  • Synthetic: allows direct entry of each batch with its information (title, planned duration, remains to be done, and turnover allocation)

  • Detailed: allows entry of batch data (title and turnover allocation), and its items with their information (title, date, planned duration, and remains to be done)

  • You now fill in the "Remains to be done" and not the progress for each batch/item

ATTENTION: The synthetic view is no longer accessible once you have created a batch with more than one batch item

Advanced administration of your settings

Improved display of your logos on the interface, billing, and CLIENT ACTIVITY REPORTS.

  • you can now upload logos in various formats (JPEG, PNG, and GIF) without size restrictions for your PDF documents

ATTENTION: The size of your company logo displayed in your browser will remain limited to a maximum width and height of 173x83px.

Creation of manager accounts from a resource card

  • Now, when you create a manager from a resource card, Administration Console > Accounts > "Create", the tool retrieves the existing log in credentials without requiring you to change them

Deletion of manager accounts

  • No manipulation errors are possible anymore, your manager accounts can no longer be deleted, Administration Console > Accounts > Account Card > "Delete", but simply "downgraded" to a resource card

Switch Manager / Administrator

  • A new key allows you to define managers as administrators, Administration Console > Accounts > Account Card > "Modules" section > "Administrator Log in" key, a switch link (near the log out button) will then be accessible from their interface to switch between Manager and Administrator mode

Improved intuitiveness for entering timesheets & expenses

  • Display of all absence periods, as a summary, on your absence lists Manager Account > Timesheets, Expenses & Absences and Manager Account > Resources > Resource Card > "Absences" tab

  • Each new line on timesheets and expense reports copies the data from the previous line --> speed up entry of your documents

  • When BoondManager detects a discrepancy between a timesheet and absence requests, it now offers a link to the corresponding absence requests and to add validated absences not entered

  • Display of the "Paid" column on the expense report list of resource cards Manager Account > Resources > Resource Card > "Expenses" tab

Various improvements

Billing Module

  • Management of "Credit Notes", Manager Account > Billing > Order Card --> "Create Credit Note"

  • Addition of the "Proforma" state which does not create invoice references until the state is changed, Manager Account > Billing > Invoice Card

Projects / Positionings Modules

  • More comprehensive display of financial data (turnover, costs, margin, and profitability) on mission cards Manager Account > Projects > Project Card > "Missions" tab > Mission Card and positionings Manager Account > Opportunities > Opportunity Card > "Positionings" tab > Positioning Card

CRM Module

  • When reassigning a company card to another "Manager" account, it is now possible to bulk reassign all associated contacts Manager Account > CRM > "Perimeter" --> "Edit"

  • Addition of the "Actions" tab on CRM company cards to view all actions carried out and to be carried out with the various contacts of the same structure! Manager Account > CRM > CRM Company Card

Opportunities Module

  • All opportunities with at least one project can no longer be deleted

Soap API - Limits of the ReadBdd function

  • Limits for the ReadBdd function of our Soap API libraries have been implemented, this may affect your ongoing developments!

Please instruct your developers to review these limits from the tutorial for this function

New Apps on the marketplace

  • WTriggersAbsences: allows you to view/edit absence balances & custom quotas for all your resources

  • WMarkers: allows you to view the batches/milestones of your projects

  • HireAbility: analyzes Word, Text, PDF, and/or scanned resumes to allow automatic creation/modification of candidates

We strongly encourage you to review all Apps delivered on our Marketplace (Apps for interfacing with Google Apps, payroll preparation, etc.). You can view them directly at: http://www.boondmanager.com/marketplace Only your company administrator, from the "Marketplace" section (located at the top right of the screen), can install Apps on your interface and then manually activate them for the relevant manager accounts. We remain at your complete disposal to inform you about how our Apps work, which can bring you real additional functionalities to BoondManager's standard modules.
