This month, we are extremely proud of our teams and excited to present these highly anticipated improvements that will transform your daily workflow.

Emailing

Simplification of the workflow

To simplify your user journey and reduce the number of clicks, we have completely redesigned the application's workflow to allow you to write your message directly.

Simple sending

From the relevant card (Candidate, Resource, CRM Contact), you can use the Emailing app to send a message or perform a CV Push.

From a card, 2 options are available to you:

Multiple sending

Once you select several cards, an action banner appears at the bottom of your page, allowing you to use the Emailing app and choose the type of sending you wish to perform: message, CV Push.

Automatic update of cards after sending

When you send via Emailing, you can choose to update:

  • The states of your invoices

  • The steps of candidates

  • The state of the positioning on an opportunity

Add your own attachments

Another highly anticipated improvement is now possible: add attachments when sending a message, CV Push, or invoice.

Recipient selection

Whether for CV Push, sending a Message, or Invoices, you can add up to 3 recipients by placing them in Cc or Bcc.

Set a default choice for your invoices

You can choose between:

  • The manager sending the invoice

  • The manager responsible for the invoice

  • The manager responsible for the project

  • Enter the email address of your choice

Note:

You can add default Cc and Bcc when sending invoices by going to the Administration > Legal Agencies > Billing tab interface. You must have access rights to Administration.


Add merge fields in the subject

It is now possible to place merge fields (variables) in the subject of your templates.

Prerequisite

You must first insert the variable in the body of the email, then copy/paste it into the subject.

We have increased the number of available merge fields (variables) to give you even more options to customize your templates.

Template improvements

To help you save even more time and increase efficiency, you can now:

  1. Send an email without a template

  2. Create a template without leaving the current page

To help you further, Boond even offers 3 default templates: one for your invoices, one for your quotations, and one for your activity and expense reminders.

  1. For sending your invoices, you can:

  • Associate a default state to your template, which will then be imposed on invoices after using it.

Simplified reminders for documents pending validation (Timesheets, Expenses, Absences)

The Emailing app now allows you to send reminders for Timesheets, Expenses, and Absences, whether:

  • From the Activity and Expenses module.

    Note:

    The reminder will only concern people whose validation is pending. Boond will display a message informing you of people not affected by this reminder.

Send invoices from a different email address

Administration > Legal Agencies section > Billing tab

If you wish to associate your invoice sending with a dedicated address other than your own, this is possible

. You just need to customize the sender email for invoices.

Prerequisite

You must authorize in your email configuration the sending of emails with this new address.


HTML management in templates

For all creatives, you can now create your template from HTML code and have beautiful content that reflects your brand.

Simplified Office365 log in

To facilitate synchronization between Boond and Office365, you can now log in very easily via Office 365 OAuth authentication.

Just go to the Emailing app and select your provider. One click and it’s done.

The Emailing app now extends to other functionalities and can be used to send your quotations.

Facilitate your invoice payment tracking

We have implemented a banner at the bottom of each page, allowing you to display the ET and IT amounts of the selected invoices.

Banner integrating action buttons

We have implemented a banner at the bottom of each page, allowing you to perform actions after selecting a certain number of cards, depending on your rights.

Explanation

  • The action buttons at the top right allow you to perform actions (export and extraction only) on all cards (across all pages)

  • Actions to be performed on a selection of cards now go through the "do" bar

Action improvements


Synthetic display of actions

Actions are now presented as cards. When an action is lengthy, its display is restricted for better visibility. You can then open the action to view its full content.

Additionally, actions are now grouped by month and then by year based on their age.

Ability to minimize the action and continue browsing

You can minimize the action to the side like a tab to continue browsing and resume editing or reading when desired. Isn’t that great?

Ability to format actions

You can now format your actions to improve visibility.

Among these: titles, bold/italic/underline, image insertion, font sizes and styles, tables, bullet points, clickable links ...


Agenda gadget improvements (Gcalendar and Microsoft)

To allow you to invite external people to your organization, we have added a Description field so you can separate the action body from the invitation.

When you use the agenda gadget to synchronize your actions and calendars, the action body will no longer be indicated in the calendar event. However, there will be a Description field linked to the event.

So, if you indicate your action report, the invitee will not see it.

Candidate and resource management


Add attachments to contracts

For greater data security and to store more administrative attachments, you can now add attachments to your Resource contracts.

Ability to attach PPT resumes

In the Candidates and Resources module, you can now attach PPT resumes as attachments.


Simplification of the social networks component

Now, when you add a social network link related to a candidate, resource, or CRM contact, Boond will automatically detect and insert the correct logo. The link will be clickable.

Projects+


Manage Production Turnover of your fixed-price projects

The Projects+ app allows you to modify the Production Turnover calculation logic for certain project types. Designed mainly to improve production management for fixed-price projects, it lets you change the Production Turnover calculation method in several ways to best match your practices:

  • "Capped TA mode": Production is incremented normally (proportionally to declared times/expenses/purchases) but capped by the total Signed Turnover of the project

  • Signed Turnover x Project progress: For those who manage Remaining Work and deduce progress from it.

  • Manually: You can indicate each month the Turnover you consider as produced

Manage the monthly progress of your projects

This app offers a view inspired by the "Consumption" tab of your project cards but with more information. You will be able to see the evolution of your project indicators month by month globally, by group, or by delivery.

Also, the "search" view of the app allows you to quickly see summarized figures for your projects and also know which projects you have not yet updated (especially regarding progress).

New features thanks to beta testers

A big thank you to those who beta tested the Projects+ app in the previous version. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to add some improvements during the migration of this app. Among them:

  • Entering Remaining Work by group: To go into more detail than the "global" Remaining Work but without specifying Remaining Work by resource.

  • "Automatic" mode for Production Turnover rate calculation: To spread the project's Production Turnover across resources in proportion to their time spent.

  • Better information reporting in various dashboards

  • Correction of all reported bugs

Zapier (v2): New Triggers & Actions

So you can trigger processes when an event occurs in BoondManager, we provide a number of triggers and actions.

Triggers based on creation events

These events will trigger your Zap every time a creation (of the object in question) is detected. You can then use the information from this newly created card to chain the actions of your choice. Here is the list of triggers concerning card creation.

  • New Candidate

  • New Resource

  • New Company

  • New Contact

  • New Opportunity

  • New Project

  • New Invoice

  • New Action / Action Updated

Triggers based on modification events

These events will trigger your Zap every time a modification (of the object in question) is detected. You can then use the modified information from this card to chain the actions of your choice. Here is the list of triggers concerning card creation.

Integromat: Another major player in automation

Integromat is a leading tool in the automation of your tasks/processes. We are pleased to announce that there is now a BoondManager integration in Integromat, so you can use it to automate search/creation/modification of cards in BoondManager.

BackupBDD: Option to not backup the DMS

The BackupBDD app allows you to perform backups (SQL dump + backup of your interface's DMS), and sometimes backing up your DMS can be resource-intensive if you only want to back up the data. To help you, we have added the option to choose what you want to backup (from the administrator settings of this app):
