The Candidate module is equipped with a textual search engine and filters to help you quickly and efficiently find a specific profile in your resume database.
⠀
Textual Search
You can use the search bar provided for this purpose to search for a Candidate (for example) by typing one or more key words.
Here is the list of operators made available:
+{expression}: expression must be present in the result
-{expression}: expression must not be present in the result (equivalent to NOT {expression})
{expression1} OR {expression2}: the result must contain expression1 OR expression2 (equivalent to {expression1} {expression2})
{expression1} AND {expression2}: the result must contain expression1 AND expression2 (equivalent to +{expression1} +{expression2})
{expression1} AND NOT {expression2}: the result must contain expression1 BUT NOT expression2 (equivalent to +{expression1} -{expression2})
What is an {expression}?
An expression can be a word, a phrase between \" \" (exact expression), or a set with ( )
Quotation marks (e.g.: \"project manager\") allow you to search for an exact expression.
A word (e.g.: \"Developer\") allows you to search for lots of words with the same semantics.
A set of words without quotation marks (e.g.: project manager) will be interpreted as several words separated by an OR operator.
Parentheses allow you to search for combinations (e.g.: Developer AND (Angular OR \"Ember.js\") AND NOT \"Junior\").
Sorting by relevance
Unless you sort by one of the proposed columns, the sorting of your results (when searching by key words) will always be based on the relevance calculated with your search criteria.
You can choose to perform a textual search on \"Last Names\" or \"Phone numbers\" by clicking on advanced filters and modifying the \"Nature of key words\".
⠀
Search by filters
You can use advanced filters to carry out your profile search. Several filters are available, such as:
Contract: Permanent Contract, Fixed-Term Contract...
Step: To handle, Talent pool, Converted to Resource, etc. This filter allows you to analyze your resume database more precisely according to the progress in the recruitment process of each candidate.
Application areas, Intervention areas: hence the importance of filling them in correctly in the Candidate's Technical Data Sheet
Mobility
Tools
Finally, note that you can combine a filter search with a textual search!
IMPORTANT:
The \"Active Pos.\" column allows you to quickly visualize for each candidate if they are positioned on an opportunity, with a positioning state other than \"Rejected\".
⠀
Kanban View
You can choose to display your search results as a list, or as a Kanban view: candidates will be classified by state.
You can move a Candidate card from one state to another using the drag-and-drop system to move the card to a new state, thus modifying the candidate's state without having to enter the card itself:
On each card, you will find several elements:
Candidate title
Past actions (blue milestones, downward) and future actions (green milestones, upward)
Candidate card creation date
Number of active positionings
Note
If you wish to modify the colors associated with each state, you must go to the Global Settings in Administration (this requires access to this section of Administration).
Administration > Global Settings > Actions/States tab
⠀
Saved Search
For your recurring searches, and to avoid having to re-configure the same filters and key words systematically, you have the option to save your searches.
You can combine key words and filters, you can choose a dynamic period (so that the search remains dynamic and the period evolves over time), and you can also choose a display type (list or kanban): all these criteria will be preserved in your search.
Finally, you have the option to share or not share this saved search.
