Configure module search rights

Search rights allow you to determine which search options you want to grant your employees and which filters will be available to them.

The Search section is divided into 3 categories:

  1. The authorized perimeter (filters made available)

  2. The right to view all cards in the interface if no filter is applied

  3. Additional permissions inherent to each module (notably extraction and export rights)

Perimeter definition

In the "Perimeter" category, you will define the options that will be offered in the Perimeter filter for the search in the relevant module.

  1. The first column shows you the available filters (agency, business unit, manager, pole)

  2. In the second column "Authorized values", you choose the perimeter on which your employee is authorized to filter (for example "all agencies" or only "their agencies"). If no value is checked, then the employee will only be able to filter on their own perimeter.

  3. In the last column "Customize", you can add agencies, business units, managers and/or poles that are not initially in their perimeter (for example, another pole than the one they are assigned to).

Focus on the manager filter

Here, different options are possible:

  • If you do not check anything in "Authorized values", the employee will only be able to filter on their own perimeter ("Self")

  • You can choose to extend their perimeter to all managers, managers of their agencies (main and secondary), managers of their poles, or their managers N-1 (the managers for whom they are Main manager)

  • In the "Customize" column, you can add other managers who do not fall under any of the planned "Authorized values" (for example, if they work in tandem with only one manager from their pole and you want them to be able to filter on their own perimeter and that of their colleague manager)

Do not view certain cards

Decide if your users can view (from search) certain cards based on their state or type.

Examples

Hide or view only:

  • Candidates with the state "Archived" or "Recruited"

  • Resources of type "External Consultant"

  • Companies/contacts of type "Provider"

  • ...

Activation of "view all cards in the group"

By enabling this option, the employee will be able to view all cards in the relevant module if no filter is applied to the perimeter.

If this option is not enabled, and your employee does not apply any filter to the perimeter, they will see the cards belonging to the authorized perimeter (see search rights > perimeter).

Permissions

Here you can enable additional permissions, such as extraction permissions from searches and export permissions (depending on the modules).

Warning

Some data that has been defined as inaccessible or hidden in the definition of your employees' access rights will be extracted and therefore accessible if you enable the extraction permission.
