How to remind a resource to validate their timesheet?

Discover the 2 methods available to remind your resources to validate their timesheets at the end of the month: the automatic reminder sent by BoondManager, or the manual reminder when needed.

Automatic reminder

When configuring your Legal Agency in your BoondManager interface, you selected a date on which your resources' timesheets are created each month.

This date also marks the start of daily automatic reminders: from this date, your resources are reminded each day by BoondManager until they validate their timesheets.

Good to know

If you want to modify the automatic reminder date for timesheets, you can do so from Administration, in your Legal Agency:

Administration > Legal Agencies > Activity and Expenses tab > Timesheet Settings section

Manual reminder

Individually from the timesheet

If you want to manually remind your resource, you can do so directly from the relevant timesheet:

  • Click the Share button at the top right

  • Select the resource from the recipient list and customize the message if needed

  • Click the send button at the top right of the page to send the email

Bulk from the Activity & Expenses module

From the Activity & Expenses module > Validations view, you can filter by period and desired validation states. You can then select the timesheets to remind and use Emailing to remind the expected validators.

Good to know

You can modify the default email template dedicated to your reminders in the Emailing app.

App Alerts configuration

You can configure in the Alerts app the delay after which a timesheet pending validation is reminded daily.

You can set "-1" day in the delay before receiving a notification, so that people are reminded from the very first day a timesheet is pending validation.
