Prerequisites
Profile enrichment is available for our Advanced, Enterprise, and Business plans.
If you have not subscribed to one of these plans, you can consult the article about manual candidate profile qualification.
Why use this feature?
To ensure your candidate profiles are well qualified, with all the information you have collected throughout your interactions with the candidate. The useful information is already in your database: you entered it after an interview. But it remains in the action thread and never reaches the profile fields—unless you re-enter it manually, which no one has time to do. Enrichment does this second step for you. It fills in empty fields and, when a more recent action contradicts what is already on the profile, it suggests updating that value for you.
You save time:
No need to reread a three-page report to extract the announced Daily Rate or availability;
No double entry between the action and the profile;
No need to revisit an already qualified profile to update a Daily Rate that has changed or mobility that has evolved;
Less risk of forgetting information when qualifying the profile.
Your profiles are more easily usable:
Your searches in the talent pool target actually filled fields;
Profile suggestions and TD generation are based on an up-to-date profile.
You can use it in several cases:
After an interview, when you have just recorded your report;
When you revisit an old profile and no longer remember its content;
After a new interview with a candidate already in the database, whose expectations, availability, or mobility have changed;
Before assigning a candidate, to check that their profile is complete;
When you prepare a TD and the fields are empty.
Important
This feature is a data entry assistant powered by AI. It does not replace your judgment:
Nothing is ever written to the profile without your explicit validation. The AI prepares, you decide.
This also applies to an already filled value: it is never replaced automatically.
When a suggestion replaces or removes an existing value, the old value is shown next to the new one. You validate a change, not an isolated value.
Verifying the suggested values remains essential and is the manager's responsibility.
Each suggestion comes with a snippet of the action that justifies it: read it before validating.
The AI only extracts facts. No opinions, candidate assessments, or recommendations to retain or reject a profile are produced, even if the action contains them.
How to enrich a candidate profile in Boond
You do not need to trigger anything: the analysis runs in the background. Boond simply notifies you when it finds something.
Go to the relevant candidate profile.
In the profile header, the "✨ Ask AI" button displays a counter badge indicating the number of available pieces of information. This button is visible from all tabs of the profile.
Expand the button.
An Enrich profile item appears at the top of the list, above existing entries (Find an opportunity, Summarize profile), with the subtitle "N new data available".
Click "Enrich profile" to open the details of the detected information.
💡 Note: If there is nothing to suggest, the badge and subtitle do not appear: the item remains inactive, accompanied by the mention "no new data detected".
Displaying results
Here is an example of a result to better understand what Boond suggests.
1 - The modal header
The modal is titled New information available, subtitled "N new fields".
This number is the same as on the badge and the item subtitle: it matches exactly the fields that you can view and edit. Two users with different rights will therefore see two different counters on the same profile.
2 - Grouping by tab
Fields are grouped by destination tab—Information, Administrative, TDs—in the order of the profile fields.
A field editable in several places appears only once. The Title, for example, is editable from Information and from TDs: it is suggested only once and will be written in both places if you validate it.
3 - The field card
Each field is displayed as a card. It contains:
the field label
the suggested value, formatted according to the field type
the current profile value, shown struck through next to the new one, when the suggestion replaces or removes something:
an information icon (?), which on hover displays the source of the action and its date:
Composite fields—notably those in TD—are presented in a single card, with their sub-lines inside, and are handled by a single decision.
The three types of suggestions
A suggestion does not always do the same thing. An icon on the card indicates the type of suggestion:
Type | What Boond suggests | Example |
New | The field is empty on the profile. The detected value is added. | Availability empty → "1 to 3 months" |
Update | The field already has a value and the action provides another. The old value is shown struck through next to the new one. | Current Daily Rate 520 € → 560 € |
Removal | For a field with multiple values, the action explicitly states that a value no longer applies. | Mobility: Lyon removed |
The same action can produce an addition and a removal on the same field—"no longer wants to go to Lyon, but Toulouse would be fine." Both appear on a single card and are handled by a single decision: it's all or nothing. It is not possible to accept the addition and refuse the removal.
How to validate the suggested information
Decide field by field
Each card has three exclusive actions—you choose one, and only one, per field.
Action | Effect when applied |
✓ Validate (checked by default) | The value is written to the profile, in all places where the field is editable. On an update, it replaces the existing value; on a removal, the value is removed from the list. |
🕒 Ignore | Nothing is written, nothing is rejected. The suggestion remains pending and will be presented to you again the next time you open the profile. |
✕ Reject | Permanent rejection. This value will never be suggested again for this field. |
As long as you have not applied, you can change your mind as many times as necessary.
💡 Note: The three actions are not interchangeable. Ignore lets you apply the rest without writing this field or ruling it out—it's the right move when you want to check before deciding. Reject is permanent.
An update is final
Boond does not keep a copy of the replaced value and there is no button to undo. The change appears in the activity log of the profile, with the mention "Change from an AI suggestion" and the user who made the decision: this is where you can find the old value.
If in doubt, use Ignore rather than Validate: the suggestion remains pending.
Apply changes
Two buttons at the bottom of the modal:
Cancel (or the cross)—closes the modal. No decision is recorded, the choices made in the modal are lost, and everything is reset to "validate" when reopened.
Apply and save—executes your three types of decisions at once: validated fields are written to the profile, ignored fields remain pending, rejected fields are permanently removed. A confirmation message is displayed.
Nothing is written to the profile before this validation.
Your decisions apply to your entire company.
A candidate profile is visible to several managers. A validation or a rejection applies to the entire account: the suggestion is no longer presented to other users. Boond keeps track of the user who made each decision.
An ignored field, however, remains suggested to everyone.
What data is analyzed?
The AI analyzes the text of actions linked to a candidate profile: interview report, follow-up, end-of-assignment interview, call note... regardless of the action type.
The analysis is triggered automatically, with each creation or modification of an action, regardless of the channel used: entry in the interface, creation via API, email connector, third-party application.
A few useful rules to know:
An action without text is not analyzed.
There is no length threshold: An action of ten characters ("Daily Rate 600") is analyzed just like a multi-page report.
A modified action is reanalyzed; a deleted action removes the suggestions that stemmed from it.
Actions imported in bulk, by file or API, are analyzed like those entered manually.
It is the action's creation date that counts, not the import date: an old action imported today never takes precedence over more recent information.
Actions linked to anything other than a candidate (opportunity, company, contact) are not analyzed for now.
Attachments are not read: only the action text is analyzed.
💡 Note: If you import your entire action history at once, expect to see old information appear on still-empty profiles—a 2019 interview may suggest the 2019 Daily Rate. The action date is displayed next to each suggestion: check it before validating.
Fields concerned
The AI works on a closed list of 30 fields, spread across three tabs of the profile. Each field has a validity period: beyond that, the information is considered outdated and is no longer suggested. The last column indicates what Boond can suggest for this field when it is already filled.
Field | Tab | Validity | Possible update |
Title | Information | No limit | Replacement |
