BoondPulse: Your AI Assistant in Boond

Written by Charlie Troccaz

🤖 This article was translated by AI.

You speak to it in natural language, and it acts directly within your Boond. It searches your data, analyzes, drafts, and can even create your actions. All without leaving Boond.

🚨 Please note

This feature is available for clients subscribed to an Advanced, Enterprise and Business plan.

If you want to learn more about these plans, you can visit our website and contact us at [email protected] to discuss with our teams.

It is currently in beta test.

What is it for?

Review an account's history before a meeting, draft a follow-up, audit a candidate database, re-enter a demo activity report… These tasks take a few minutes each, several times a day. BoondPulse handles them for you. It knows your data, your business, and your screens.

You ask, it does.

Ideal for:

  • Saving time on repetitive daily tasks

  • Preparing your meetings and follow-ups faster

  • Leveraging data already present in your Boond, without re-entering it elsewhere

How to access it?

BoondPulse is accessible:

  • directly on the Boond interface: by clicking the orange star at the top right of the screen:

  • via the Chrome extension to have it at hand even outside the interface:

  • via the Firefox extension to have it at hand even outside the interface:

How do you use it?

Three ways to interact with it, depending on your current need.

Quick actions, in one click

No need to formulate a request each time: BoondPulse offers action suggestions tailored to the screen you're viewing. No more blank page syndrome.

The principle is simple: actions adapt to the context level. The deeper you go into the details, the more precise they become.

  • On a list: actions that apply to the entire displayed set.

↳ For example, on the contact list: Draft follow-ups.

  • On a record: actions targeted at that specific item.

↳ For example, on a contact record: Detect commitments (payment terms, deadlines, amounts…) or Express briefing, which summarizes the record in seconds.

  • On a tab of a record: actions even more targeted to the displayed data.

↳ For example, on the Actions tab of a contact record: a summary of the latest exchanges.

On a record, both record-level actions and those of the open tab are combined: the more you navigate into details, the richer the palette becomes.

Note

You will find the full catalog of quick actions at the end of this article in the "Catalog of existing quick actions" paragraph.

Your own quick actions

Our actions cover the most common uses, not yours in particular. Do you repeat a request several times a week? Save it once, it becomes a quick action for you.

To create a personalized quick action:

  • go to the page you're interested in,

  • open BoondPulse

  • click the cogwheel (⚙ icon at the top right) to open BoondPulse settings

  • click Quick actions

  • click Create a quick action.

Three pieces of information to provide:

  • A label: the text you'll see on the button in BoondPulse (60 characters max).

  • A prompt: what BoondPulse should do. Write it as if you were asking a colleague.

  • A URL: meaning where the action appears. This is the point that requires the most attention. By default, it takes the URL of the page you're on.

The URL: where the action appears

BoondPulse takes the address of the open page and splits it into segments.

By default, the action only appears on that specific page. The message under the address confirms: "Available only on this specific page."

To make it appear on all pages of the same type, click the segment containing the record number. It is replaced by a wildcard, shown as *, and the message changes: "Available on all pages following this pattern." Nothing happens automatically: without this click, the action remains limited to this single record.

For example:

You are on the Technical Data tab of candidate no. 6. The address splits into candidates / 6 / technical-datas.

  • Without wildcard: the quick action appears only on candidate 6's record.

  • With a wildcard instead of 6: the quick action appears on the Technical Data tab of all your candidates.

The original value remains displayed under the wildcard. A new click restores it.

Where to find them

Your actions are displayed first in the BoondPulse panel, in the My actions group, before those suggested by Boond. The lightning icon makes them easy to spot at a glance.

To edit or delete them: settings (⚙), then Quick actions. Each action appears with its label and the page URL where it is displayed. At the end of the line, there is a pencil to edit and a trash bin to delete.

Note

Your quick actions are visible only to you. Your colleagues can't see them, and you can't see theirs.

Hide actions suggested by Boond

Our suggestions don't fit your way of working? You can hide them all and keep only yours.

To do so, you must:

  • go to BoondPulse

  • click the cogwheel (⚙) to access settings,

  • open Quick actions

  • disable Show actions suggested by Boond.
The subtitle confirms: "Only your quick actions appear."

The setting applies immediately and only concerns you.

Your own requests, in natural language

You can also write to it directly, as you would speak to a colleague. Quick actions are just a starting point: its uses go far beyond this list. The best is to try it on your own cases.

What it can do

Prepare a meeting

Ask it to review an account's history. It brings up the split between TA / package, key issues, tools in place at the lead, and an approach strategy. No need to reread all actions one by one.

Draft your follow-ups

It generates a follow-up email based on the actual history of your exchanges with the lead. Relevant, personalized, ready to send.

Organize your day

Ask it "what should I do today to grow my business?" It analyzes your opportunities, spots the files to prioritize, and suggests an action plan: who to contact, why, and with what angle.

Audit your databases

It evaluates the completion rate of your candidate database, spots your most rigorous recruiters, and suggests an action plan for each recruiter.

Record history without re-entry

Paste a call summary or demo transcript. It creates the action in Boond, in the right place, and fills in the fields—including your custom fields, without overwriting what's already filled.

Its strengths

It's in Boond. No copy-pasting from one tool to another. It reads and acts on your candidate, company, contact, opportunity, and action records.

It knows the business. TA, package, bench period, staffing, recruitment: no need to explain everything.

It also searches online. When a record's context isn't enough, BoondPulse can fetch information from the web to enrich its answers.

It respects your rights. Each user only sees, via the assistant, what they already have the right to see in Boond.

Note: You stay in control, and your feedback matters

BoondPulse suggests, you validate. No action is launched on your behalf, and it clearly tells you when a response only covers part of the results. It's up to you to check before using a sensitive result.

Under each answer, you can give a thumbs up 👍 or thumbs down 👎. It's the most direct channel to report what works… and what can be improved. The more feedback, the faster BoondPulse improves in the right direction.

F.A.Q.

💡Does BoondPulse have access to all my company data?

No. It only sees what you already see in Boond, according to your user rights. Your colleagues do not have access to your conversations.

💡Can it make mistakes?

Like any AI assistant, it can sometimes make a mistake or only process part of the data. It notifies you when this happens, and you always keep final validation. Check sensitive results before using them.

💡How is it better than ChatGPT or Gemini?

These tools don't know your Boond data. BoondPulse works directly with your records, your history, and your business—no copy-pasting.
