Delivery of the 7.0 Alpha version of the new employee area!
We are happy and proud to announce the arrival of BoondManager version 7.0 Alpha.
In this new version, the employee access (Intranet only) gets a new look:
for timesheet and expense entry,
for absence requests and viewing balances
In upcoming releases, access to this new version will gradually be made available to managers (7.0 Beta) and then administrators (7.0).
If you wish to be a "Beta Tester" and want your employees to try the 7.0 Alpha, we have set up a questionnaire, which must be completed by your BoondManager administrator. Upon receipt, our support teams will contact you to activate your access.
Tutorials are also available to help you use this new version: Intranet v7
For others, BoondManager version 6.9.7 is evolving to 6.9.8:
1 - Improvement of the Opportunities module
This new version brings you flexibility in the general view of opportunities, thanks to greater freedom in column selection and also thanks to new fields: Closing Date and Proposal Date. The main goal is to optimize your opportunity management.
1.1 - Ability to choose columns to display
Until now, visibility was limited to 10 columns in the Opportunities module home dashboard. You now have a choice of 20 columns that you can select and organize.
To configure this, simply:
Go to your > Administrator Interface
Global data configuration
Tab Opportunities/Projects > in the Opportunities section, select the columns you want to display + Save
Feel free to organize the columns to have a relevant view for managing your opportunities:
1.2 - New fields: Closing Date and Proposal Date
You now have 2 new pieces of information integrated into your Opportunities:
Proposal Date: Date when a proposal was sent to the client
Closing Date: Deadline to respond to the offer / closing date of the call for proposals
You can fill in these fields in the Opportunities module > Information tab > in the Additional Information section:
These 2 new fields are also visible on the general view of opportunities (see section 1.1 of the delivery letter)
1.3 - WQuotation: Ability to add a billing schedule
You now have the ability to propose a billing schedule to your clients when creating quotations.
This new billing schedule is also included in the quotation PDF:
2 - Other updates
2.1 - Addition of the WEmailing button from the Positionings tab of your Opportunity
A new WEmailing button is now available from the "Positionings" tab in Opportunities records, allowing you to:
send messages to positioned candidates/resources
send resumes of positioned candidates/resources to CRM contacts
2.2 - Automatic transfer of attachments from a Candidate record turned into a Resource
Until now, when converting a Candidate into a Resource, you had to choose in the Pop Up whether to import the candidate's resume(s) to the resource profile.
Now, the indexed resumes in the Information tab of the Candidate, as well as attachments from administrative data, are automatically transferred:
2.3 - New indicator: Average staff
A new indicator Average Staff, which corresponds to the average staff of internal and external resources over the period, is available in the Activity Reports module > Reporting tab > Global Activity type.
As with all indicators, hover over it to see calculation details:
2.4 - Default nationality is now configurable
Default nationality is now a configurable field. You can choose to leave it blank, set it to the country of the manager responsible for the record, or any other default country.
To configure this, simply:
Go to your > Administrator Interface
Global data configuration
Tab Global > scroll down to Miscellaneous Data + Save
2.5 - Default expense: now it will be the first "Expense" and no longer "Mileage Expense"
Until now, Mileage Expenses were by default the first suggested when creating an expense report. Now, the first line you have configured in Other expenses on your Administrator interface will be suggested in the expense report.
2.6 - Time zone management for actions (configurable at agency and resource level)
To facilitate actions between Agencies and/or Resources located in different time zones, this information is now configurable:
A - At the Agencies level, if you want the time zone applied to all records linked to this agency.
To configure this, simply:
Go to your > Administrator Interface
Legal Agencies > go to your agency
Tab Information > in the Global Configuration section, select the desired time zone + Save
B - At the Resource level, if you want a time zone applied to a specific Resource.
To configure this, simply:
Go to your > Resource record
Cogwheel "configuration"
in General Information > select the desired time zone + Save
