Discussion thread on each card
To facilitate communication between users, we have improved the Share function for cards and developed a Discussion thread system on each card!
When you share a card, each recipient can directly reply in BoondManager and invite other users simply by mentioning them :)
The goal is to centralize exchanges (previously done by email) and never lose track of your conversations.
Start a discussion
Two options are available to you:
By sharing a card
Directly from the card
Follow a discussion
Once the discussion is started, an email is sent to the relevant people with a link allowing them to reply and go to the card in question.

Shared saved searches
Since January, you have been able to save searches. We have decided to go further and allow you to share your saved searches with other people.
This will help structure everyone’s searches. Thus, agency/team managers can create searches and share them with the right people to avoid everyone creating their own.
Configuration of the feature
Administration > Managers / Roles > Role card or Manager card
3 options are available to you:
Edit your saved searches
This is the current operation. It allows the user to create personal saved searchesEdit and Share your saved searches
This allows the user to create searches and share them (only their own)Edit and Share all saved searches
This allows the user to create and share all saved searches (whether or not they created them)
Using this feature
From now on, if you have sharing rights on searches, you can use this feature. You will see a new section appear when saving/displaying the saved search:

Managing shares
As an Administrator, you can manage shares.
For this, a new section has been made available to you in Administration.
From this section, you will see all saved searches and can edit/update the people who can view them.

New resume parser
We have decided to change our parsing solution for greater efficiency and performance.
Thanks to this new solution, you will benefit from:
Better quality in information recognition: references, degrees, skills
Retrieval of photos from resumes
Ability to parse any resume format (even image)

As a preview, we are very happy to announce that thanks to this change in parsing, we will soon improve the text searches of our modules, and the information collected will greatly help to provide results that are increasingly relevant and powerful.
Billing

Prevent generating an invoice for a previous period
We are adding a configuration key that prevents generating an invoice for a date earlier than an already existing invoice.
This key can be enabled by legal agency.
Administration > Legal Agencies > select the relevant agency > Billing tab

🚨IMPORTANT!
Enabling this feature will apply to legal agencies with an identical billing mask (even if the feature is not enabled on the legal agency).
Impacts
If you try to generate an invoice for a previous period, when creating the invoice you will be alerted.

Thus, if you generate an invoice for an earlier date:
the invoice will take the first available invoice date
the invoice reference may be impacted if you have a month variable
Double VAT management for Canada
In certain countries, it is necessary to apply multiple VAT rates to quotes, invoices, and purchases issued from BoondManager.
To support you around these needs, this new version introduces the following new features:
ability to allow entry of multiple VAT rates for certain legal agencies
ability to apply this to generated invoices and purchases
adapt PDFs and their summary to take into account the different VAT rates applied

This feature is not enabled by default and will not impact you if you are not present in Canada.
Configuration to be done
Add VAT rates
Administration > Global Settings > Billing tab
First, you need to indicate the different VAT rates used
Configure the legal agency
Administration > Legal Agencies > select the relevant agency > Billing tab for Invoices
Administration > Legal Agencies > select the relevant agency > Advanced Configuration tab for Purchases and Quotes
In practice
Impacts
For extractions, the VAT field will return the total VAT rate
The extraction of Accounting & Payroll will display one line per VAT rate
New Doctemplates variables are available and existing variables are not impacted.

From your employee’s timesheet, you will be able to send a unique link from Boond with the document to be validated by the client.
