The SaaSEditor application is designed to help you manage your SaaS solution sales activity. It allows you to access a dashboard that provides a range of key indicators to monitor the state of your activity.

Install the SaaSEditor application
Administrator Interface > Marketplace > SaaSEditor > click on Install
Configure the SaaSEditor application
Administrator Interface > My apps > SaaSEditor > click on Configuration
Before saving, make sure to correctly configure the following fields:
Product you wish to analyze: Choose from the list of available products. If you don't have any items, remember to create a product from the Products module and be sure to set up the subscription (monthly, annual, ...)
Type of work unit on which your teams will log their time and which will be used to calculate the product costs
Purchase category which should be directly used to calculate the product costs
Make sure to provide this information carefully to ensure your costs are correctly calculated. Indeed, most of the indicators calculated by the application are based on cost information, and if your costs are not correct, your indicators will be inaccurate.
N.B. : If you want to monitor the activity of several products, feel free to add more rows!
Authorize a Manager to use the SaaSEditor application
Administrator Interface > Managers tab > manager account card > Apps section
To do this, you need to check the box in front of the app
.
Enter the number of licenses sold on each project
Manager Interface > Projects Module > Deliveries tab > delivery card
First, you need to correctly fill in the delivery card so that the period, rate, and number of periods entered are correct.
Next, click on Apps > then on SaaSEditor:
Then, you will be prompted to indicate the number of user accounts billed for the amount specified on your delivery.
N.B: Be sure to update this number if it changes!!
Display indicators for the period of your choice
Manager Interface > My Apps > SaaSEditor
You can finally enjoy your work and see for yourself the various indicators calculated based on:
The number of user accounts entered for each delivery (of product)
The timesheets logged by your resources on the type of work unit chosen in step 2
The purchases entered in the category chosen in step 2
To refine the results you wish to observe, you can:
Choose the product you wish to analyze
Choose the period on which you wish to analyze
Search to apply your filters
Now it's your turn, feel free to hover your mouse over the label of the different indicators to see the explanation provided by our teams.
Also, you can export the displayed data if you wish to work on them in Excel.
