Update 03 2023: Bercy infos published a simplified article in March 2023 explaining the rules around NF525. If you still had any doubts, this article validates and confirms the details outlined below (Link to the official article).
If you are reading this FAQ, you are probably wondering about the requirement to use a certified software in order to use BoondManager in your business, or your Accountant has requested a certificate to that effect.
Does the BoondManager ERP need to be certified?
No, certification does not apply to BoondManager.
As a BoondManager client, you use an ERP dedicated to B2B activities, which always involve invoicing the client before you can record whether the invoice is paid or not. However, Article 286-l-3 bis of the CGI clearly states that this requirement only applies to sales to individuals (non-VAT payers):
Article 286-l-3 bis of the CGI
This requirement applies to VAT payers, whether individuals or legal entities, regardless of the sector, who deliver goods and provide services that do not result in invoicing and are intended for individual clients, as long as they use a software or a cash register system.
This requirement does not apply to:
those who carry out all their operations with one or more professionals (B to B), as long as they are always invoiced;

BoondManager also does not have a cash register function, meaning payments are not recorded in BoondManager (they are recorded in your accounting instead).
It is only possible to indicate whether the invoice is settled or not, for ADV management purposes, but it is not possible to record client payments themselves.
BoondManager therefore does not fall within the scope of this requirement, as long as you do not misuse it to make sales to individuals.
What are the impacts on managing my business?
The only impact is that you cannot use BoondManager to deliver B2C services. However, as BoondManager is an ERP designed for B2B, this should not affect your daily management or your business.
